| Approach to Therapy: | While I have a psychodynamic background and perspective, my approach in the room is integrative. I like to stay in the here-and-now and make therapy as experiential as possible. Often this leads to past or childhood experiences, which we explore as it relates to current problems. This requires a strong collaborative relationship which is tended to at all times. I also incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couple therapy. |
