I view therapy as a partnership and an alliance. In my many years as a therapist, I have come to understand the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. Every person comes to therapy with their own stories and their own needs. I am committed to tailoring therapy to meet the needs and goals of each patient using a combination of psychodynamic and interpersonal approaches as well as cognitive behavioral techniques when appropriate. I integrate a unique blend of mind, body, energy and nutritional aspects into the treatment to help move someone forward toward a healthier, more fulfilled self. I see individuals and couples for long-term or brief therapy. And, I also provide parenting counseling.
The power of my work lies in my ability to create a safe place in which to examine even the deepest, most difficult issues. No matter how bumpy the ride, I never give up.
